Swami Vivekananda Institute of Pharmaceutical sciences,The society firmly believed that technical education will play a significant role in accomplishing future productivity economic goals and increasing the living standards throughout the world. Against this back drop the society has planned to start a pharmacy college in the backward Nalgonda District where there was no technical education institute. As such Swami Vivekananda Institute of pharmacy was started offering B.Pharmacy course in 2007 and M. Pharmacy in 2011.

B. Pharmacy

Duration: 4 Years

 

M. Pharmacy

Duration: 2 Years

 

Eligibility for B. Pharm Course:

  1. Pass in HSC/PDC/PUC/AISSC/HISC (10+2) or equivalent with individual pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology (or) Mathematics both theory and practical with a minimum of 40% marks and with not less than 50% aggregate marks in the above subjects is mandatory.
  2. A pass in English with a minimum of 40% marks is mandatory for all categories.

Direct II Year B. Pharmacy course through Lateral Entry for D.Pharma holders:

  1. Should have aggregate of 50% marks in the first and second year D.Pharmacy examination with a pass in HSC or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) or Mathematics.
  2. Minimum qualifying marks in 10+2 as per I year B.Pharmacy eligibility with a pass in two year D.Pharmacy course.

Eligibility for M. Pharmacy Course

  1. Through AP PGECET: Pass in Bachelor of Pharmacy with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks by any Recognized University and qualifying with GPAT or PGECET.
  2. Management seat: Pass in Bachelor of Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks by any Recognized University and qualifying without GPAT or PGECET.
